Bringing out the best in you so you can bring out the best in others
Moving into leadership demands a different mindset and a special set of skills. You are expected to provide direction and make tough decisions as well as be coach, mentor and motivator to your team. While some believe that leaders are born, there is growing sentiment that leaders are made. The art of leadership is an acquired skill and one that comes from experience and a commitment to learning and listening.

Essential Leadership Skills for Women in Management
is a dynamic two-day course, especially designed around the needs of women that will ensure you develop the skills every confident leader needs. You will discover what people expect from, and respect in leaders as well as discover your own unique leadership style in a female learning environment.

What will you gain from attending?
• Improve your effectiveness as a woman leader through improved interpersonal communications
• Learn what leadership in the 21st Century means
• Discover and develop your personal leadership style
• Understand others through understanding behavioural styles
• Identify and remove obstacles to outstanding performance
• Balance your ability to delegate with your ability to maintain responsibility
• Develop high-performing teams
• Develop greater self-confidence and self-awareness as a leader

Who should attend?
This two-day seminar has been designed for women from all industries, sectors and organisation types who aspire to, or are already in leadership positions and want to tap into their full potential and achieve more than they have in the past.

Training methodology and outcomes
This intensive 2-day master class will combine tutorial sessions and case studies with interactive learning exercises. We use the principles of adult learning and draw upon a variety of modalities to create a powerful, stimulating environment for you, including:
• Socratic interaction (questioning and provoking deeper thought)
• Small and large group work
• Presentation of models and theory
• Individual reflection and journaling
• Ice breakers and similar energizers

All attendees will be provided with a workbook and a certificate of completion.

So many people attend a workshop or masterclass and leave enthusiastic and full of good intentions. Then back in the office, all the old pressures and demands resume immediately, and those good intentions evaporate before they have a chance to try out anything new.   Before the two days are out, you will have crafted your own action plan and thought about strategies to ensure that you put that plan into action and stay on track to make the changes you want to make.
