New Zealand Downstream 2012

NZ Downstream 2012

The aim of the New Zealand Downstream Summit was to create the premiere event on the New Zealand energy sector’s calendar. We set out to create a participative, industry-led event that tackled the real strategic, policy and commercial issues for the electricity, downstream petroleum and gas sectors.

Over 200 senior executives joined Conferenz and Freeman Media for the inaugural New Zealand Downstream Summit over the 6th-7th of March. Over two days, our attendees heard from over 50 speakers from a range of industry stakeholders.

Among the conference highlights was

  • The Opening Address from Phil Heatley, Minister of Energy and Resources,
  • Our Leaders’ Panel featuring six New Zealand energy sector’s CEOs
  • Our Foundation Partner addresses from the Commerce Commission, Transpower, the Gas Industry Company and the Electricity Authority

Capping off the event was the Downstream Conference Dinner. With a night of fine dining and excellent entertainment from Jeremy Elwood and Paul Ego, attendees were given the opportunity to relax and connect with each other in a more informal setting.

The 2013 New Zealand Downstream Summit has already been booked for 6-7 March 2013 at the Pullman Hotel, Auckland. Register your interest today!
